Oh Sam and Ronnie....*sigh*

Anywho! Today's question is :

Can exes remain friends?

Quick story : My friend started dating this guy. And they're

at a point where they're madly in LOVE (although she won't admit it lol).

Naturally, I asked her if he had any flaws....you know...

Bad BO.....Missing teeth....Criminal history..all that good stuff.

She said the BIGGEST issue is that...*drum roll please*...

His BEST friend is his ex girlfriend. 

*pause*

Let me say that again....

His BEST friend is his ex girlfriend!

Excuse me? Come again? No ma'am!

I'm sorry, but that is just not normal. If feelings were once present,

then they have the potential to reemerge.

There's a reason why lovers part ways. 

They discover that they are just not good for each other.

And when they decide to call things off...they should call off EVERYTHING.

Everything!

I feel that when exes hold on to each other..whether through friendship or frenemyship..

it's because they still have feelings for each other. 

They may be able to hide them...or disguise them..but they're always there.

That's unhealthy.

And it'll cause problems in any future relationships.

My final thoughts : Either work it out or toss it out...completely.
